What the job involves
Priced per job. Aerial work is weather dependent, so I'll be straight with you on timings.
- Signal tested at the aerial and at each outlet
- Aerials repositioned, replaced or re-secured

- Amplifiers and splitters fitted where the signal needs it — and left out where it doesn't
- Freeview retuned and checked channel by channel

Why does my picture keep breaking up?
Usually either too little signal or, surprisingly often, too much. It can be a corroded aerial connection, a splitter feeding too many rooms, or an amplifier that's overdriving the tuner. It needs measuring rather than guessing, which is exactly what I do first.
Can you reuse my old Sky cable for a TV point?
Sometimes, yes — it's decent cable and it's already in the wall, which is most of the work done. Whether it's usable depends on where it runs and what state it's in. Worth asking before paying for a new run.
Do I need a new aerial?
Less often than you'd be told by someone selling aerials. Plenty of the faults I see are a bad connection, a corroded joint or a loose fixing rather than the aerial itself. I'll test it first and tell you what I actually find.
